Overall, this was the Crunch's worst game of the season. Their offense was non existent while their defense proved to be effective as swiss cheese. Once again, the Crunch found themselves laying an egg on the powe rplay, converting on none of their six man up chances. York did a decent job for his first action of the season, but was bound to struggle in front of a very fired up Utica team playing in front of their home fans. On the other side of the ice, Joe Cannata pitched a clean sheet, stopping all of the Crunch's thirty shots.
The Crunch have one last chance to pick up a win this weekend. They travel west on the Thruway to face Rochester tomorrow in Blue Cross Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 5pm.
